What and Why?
FeedAlley.Com is a social bookmark webfeed manager. It allows you to apply (descriptive) tags to help identify the many types of information available. Tagging categorizes your webfeed collection, thus creating the possibility
- to access your collection wherever you are
- share your collection with others too
and last but not least
- discover and search for feeds other users aggregate/read
How?
On the home page webfeeds can be searched by:

Title - Choose 'Search by Title', fill in title and click the go!-button.
FeedAlley checks the availability. If available a search result page shows up.
- By webfeed url or website url - Choose 'Search/Submit Feed-URL', fill in url (include http...!) and click the go!-button.
FeedAlley checks the availability. When available the webfeed is validated (i.e. tests if the feed complies with the official technical webfeed standards)
In case the webfeed is OK a page shows up giving detail information.
N.B. Entering a webfeed that seems to be technically incorrect results in serving an error message.
Once registered for the service, you can add webfeeds to your collection by adding tags of your own choice. FeedAlley shows how other users tagged the site/webfeed.
Any time tags can be changed or deleted.
And ... FeedAlley.Com makes suggestions for other webfeeds that may interest you.

What is a Webfeed?
A webfeed is an easy way for you to keep updated automatically on websites you like. Instead of you having to go to websites to see if they have written a new article or feature, you can use the webfeed they provide to get them to tell you every time they have something new. Several times a day the lastest posts from 1000's of webfeeds are fetched, stored and indexed. Thus allowing FeedAlley.Com users easy searching, browsing and tagging.
What are Tags/what is tagging?
Tags are one word descriptors that assist to categorize information. Webfeeds can be tagged with multiple tags. As more users tag their webfeeds it will become simpler to find information on similar topics.

The Feeds4All home page shows all webfeeds that were tagged by registered FeedAlley.Com users.
Let other users inspire you, by browsing through the list.
You can also click on tags as shown in the popular tags (at the right side of the home page).

Tag syntax: any combination of alphanumeric characters (lower case!) the underscore character included.
In other words only the following characters are allowed: a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 _ and any other character will be ignored.

Feed acceptance criteria
A submitted feed is accepted when it complies to our approval criteria. The approval procedure will take place as soon as possible and will take place without notice.
Feeds are rejected in case :
- the language is not English, French, German, Italian, Spanish or Dutch
- the feed name, feed description or feed items contain content that is offensive, outragious, debatable, doubtful or questionable
- the feed belongs to sites or other web resources about or connected to: casinos, brokers (real estate, horse races etc), stock markets, auctions, pricewatches, sex, porn, rent, debts, shops, malls, mortgage, all kind of stores (online and offline), service providers, software suppliers, software distributors, forbidden organizations, etc.
- the feed serves content that has a very short 'lifetime' (for instance exchange rates, stock exchange information, temperatures, real estate prices)
- the feed serves any other content that in our opinion is not tolerable
- the feed contains less than five items.
- the feed contains redundant or almost identical items
- the feed contains content that is aggregated from content in other feeds
